If you have struggled with meditation in the past, using guided visualizations can be a helpful way to get started with this valuable technique. Each recording in this course is designed to help guide you on your journey to relaxation.


We spend most of our day in a sympathetic nervous system response. This is our fight, flight, or freeze response. Unfortunately, your body can not tell the difference between the stress of: being chased by a lion, getting stuck in rush hour traffic when you are already late for a meeting, or worrying about the fight you just had with your partner.


When we are in a sympathetic nervous system state, our body is pumped full of adrenaline and is ready to leap into action. However, our digestive system and the recover and repair systems in our body slow to a glacial pace. When we meditate we transition into a parasympathetic nervous system state - our rest and digest mode. It is in this state that our body is able to repair and restore. This is also when our body is able to digest not only the food we eat but also our thoughts and emotions.


These guided visualizations are all under 15 minutes (many are under 10). They are easy to fit into your everyday life and aid you in transitioning into a state of rest and digest.
