Before we get started, I wanted to quickly introduce myself and give you a little background on how I was able to reclaim my life from a point of total burnout.

Hi there, before we get started, I want to introduce myself. For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Kate Hesse, I’m a Mental & Emotional Hygiene Coach and I’m so excited to be part of your journey.
I want to take a few moments to give you a little bit of background on how I ended up here and why this course is so important to me before we dive into our first technique.
As a child, my mother taught me how to tap into my intuition (she actually taught me one of the techniques covered in the course!). And for many years this connection and guidance served me well.
But as I got older, I lost touch with that part of myself. In the face of pressure to fit in, pressure to belong, and the pressure I put on myself as a people-pleaser and a perfectionist, I abandoned my intuition in order to become who I thought I “should” be - not who I was.
The more I ignored my intuition, the more I fell out of alignment with what was truly important to me, and the harder and harder life became. Finally, one day, curled up under my desk at work crying, I realized my life had become unsustainable, and the problem wasn’t anyone or anything outside of me - the problem WAS me.
There was no balance in my life. I was stressed out. I was burnt out. And I was overwhelmed every day. I hadn’t fully put the pieces together, but I knew a big part of the puzzle was constantly doing things because I thought I “should”, not because I wanted to.
So I started searching my memory, and began reading, and talking to friends, and discovering tools and techniques to help me bring balance back into my life. Early in my journey, the memory of being guided by my intuition came back to me, and I revisited that original technique I learned as a child.
I continued to learn and grow, experimenting and implementing tools, one, by one, by one, guiding myself back to balance. Back to health, and back to happiness.
Now, I don’t wake up crying every morning. I’m not so stressed out I can’t cope with my life anymore. Instead, I wake up each morning excited for what the day will bring.
I hope for you, learning how to use your intuition to reduce and remove self-doubt is either a first step, or another step in your journey to building a life you love. To building your way back to balance. To happiness and to health. To having the physical, mental, and emotional energy to get through each day with ease, resilience, and joy.
