Hi, I’m Kate

Growing up a people-pleaser, I believe everyone else's needs were more important than my own.

I believed I could do it all. I thought I could be everything to everyone. So I spent years making sure I was taking care of as many people as possible. And I prided myself on giving all of my time and energy (and then some) to help take care of family, friends, and co-workers.

But it still wasn't enough. I still let my inner critic tell me that I wasn't deserving of love, of happiness, of self-care and relaxation. My inner critic kept reminding me of how much better my life was than so many other people. That voice was always there to remind me that I needed to give back, that I needed to earn all the good things I had in my life. So I became a martyr, sacrificing my needs at the altar of taking care of others.

Several jobs, one divorce, estranged relationships with dear family and friends, and I finally realized. I wasn't happy, this dynamic wasn't healthy, and it wasn't sustainable. The problem wasn't that one job, or that one person, the common denominator and the problem was ME. And I not only couldn't keep going the way I had been, but I didn't want to keep going that way.

So I set out to find another way. I started going to yoga classes. I learned about healthy boundaries. I read countless books, spent hundreds upon hundreds of hours in personal development courses, seminars, and symposiums.

And slowly through trial and error I learned how to quiet my inner critic and how to create my inner sanctuary. How to use all the tools I was learning to create a life I love, a life I'm excited to wake up to each morning.

That same stubborn streak that made me push so hard to take care of others, it also helped me keep going through success and failure to learn how to take care of myself!

And now I use everything I've learned to teach other people-pleasers how to quiet their own inner critics. How to create their own inner sanctuaries. And how live with serenity and joy, instead of mentally looping through everything they did wrong, could have done better, and didn't get to but should have done.

What should I expect from Individual Coaching with Kate?


My individual coaching program is highly customized. I will work with you starting with where you are – there's no groundwork you need to do in advance of working with me as long as you're committed and willing to do the work. 

The Individual Coaching program provides you with a private 1:1 call with me each week. (You can choose voice or Zoom based on your own preference – if you opt for Zoom, you can also opt to receive a recording of your session.)

After each call, you’ll receive an email covering what we talked about and highlighting the key takeaways. I’ll also include links to additional resources to supplement what we covered, along with workbooks, worksheets, guided audio and video, and other tools to help you deepen the work. Many of these resources are personalized and only available to Individual Coaching clients.

I'll be asking you to do some hard and often uncomfortable work - but it's when we step into the unknown that we begin to grow and the magic happens. Weekly homework assignments will include journaling and self-exploration exercises, breathwork practices, guided meditations and visualizations, and mindfulness and movement practices. Again, your homework will be tailored to you, your unique needs and situation.

Finally, while enrolled in the Individual Coaching Program, you’ll receive Voxer access to me (I’ll respond within 24-hours to any messages you send).

But the best way to get an idea of what you’ll get when you sign-up to work with me is to register for a no-cost Discovery Session and experience what it’s like first hand!  I would love to spend an hour talking with you about your life and goals (even if you aren’t sure what those are yet). Discovery Sessions are a great opportunity for you to jump start your work and determine if working one-on-one together will be a good fit!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a refund if I'm unhappy with my purchase?

Refunds are not offered for the Individual Coaching program. All participant are required to sign-up for a complimentary Discovery Session before registering for this program to ensure it's a good fit for them. Your transformation starts with purchasing this program and making the commitment to yourself that you're ready to change your life. As no refunds will be offered, please be sure you're ready to commit to the work you're embarking on.


How do I schedule my appointment?

Upon registering for the Individual Coaching Program, you'll receive a link to my online calendar to book your sessions. If I don't have an available time that works for you, we'll work together to pick a time/date that does! Please note that you must schedule at least 72 hours in advance to allow time to prepare for your session.


Can I purchase coaching more than once?

Absolutely! At the end of your 3-month coaching program, we will discuss what your next step options are. Currently you can either sign-up for another 3-months of coaching, or you can schedule 1-hour tune-up appointments as needed. However, new programs are in the works and different options may be available upon the completion of your program.
